Rochdale Special Needs Cycling Club caters for mentally disabled children and children with learning difficulties, and take groups of children for cycle rides every weekend and for longer camping trips with their parents or guardian during the school holidays.

Specially adapted machines are needed to take out the children with severe mental disabilities that preclude them from riding a bicycle. With the help of the BWCF, they were able to purchase a much needed tandem.
