A golf day organised by two members of Ealing Golf Club, raised a magnificent total of £50,000 for the BWCF. The prime sponsor of the event was a company called Blueprint, and their guests dug deeply into their pockets in an auction of sporting memorabilia, to contribute to the BWCF project for DEBRA.
As a result of their efforts the two Ealing members, Ron Brockwitz and John Wheeler, were invited as guests to the DEBRA Golf Society Annual Dinner at Wentworth Golf Club, where they were presented with awards recognising their outstanding achievement by Peter Alliss, President of the DEBRA Golf Society.
